Review: Our London Apartment from Housetrip.com

Hello beautiful earthlings! This blog post should have been posted earlier but when we got back from our London weekend city break, I managed to get myself sick. However, I feel slightly better compared to yesterday and the day before that.

As the title suggest, I am here to review the apartment we got from Housetrip.com.

The apartment was located around the Kensington area in Central London. Click the link here to view the apartment.

COST

The apartment cost us €752 for 3 nights for 8 people. It was roughly €94 euros per person for 3 nights which was a good deal for us.
We also had to pay £20 cleaning fee and £99 security deposit which we got back on our last day.

LOCATION

The apartment is well located. It is located in Zone 2 and it is about 25-30 minutes away from Piccadilly Circus.  The apartment is just 5 minutes away from the West Kensington tube station which was the station we always get.  The hosts also said that Baron's Court is also of walking distance but we preferred the West Kensington station. We spent about  £20 worth of travel money for the 3 days we stayed in London using the Oyster card and we used it for the buses and tubes.
There are a lot of take away shops in the area where we got our food from and all of them are affordable. There is also a convenient store (Sainsbury) in the corner.

APARTMENT

The apartment itself was beautiful! When my friends and I got there we were amazed at how beautiful the building was. It looked really fancy!

The apartment is well suited for a big group. It catered our group of 8 people in it. There are 2 bedrooms that has a double bed that can sleep in 2 persons each.  The living room also has a double bed for 2 people, and two sofa bed for 1 person each.
Toiletries, towels and hair dryer are provided for our group.
There is only one bathroom in this apartment and we were glad that we were never out of hot water for shower.
They also provided the bedsheets and pillowcases. There are also more duvets found in one of the closets in one of the bedrooms.
We also like how clean the apartment was when we got there.

The apartment is fully equipped with kitchen appliances (stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher) and kitchen utensils from cooking pans to your cutleries and plates.

I only managed to take one photo of the bedroom but in their Housetrip page, they have provided all the photos.

I also made a vlog of the apartment even though I have poor video taking skills!

COMMUNICATION WITH HOSTS

We had no problem whatsoever in contacting the hosts of the apartment. They were always ready to answer any questions we had. They were very accommodating to our group and agreed to welcome us earlier than the usual check in time as we had to go to our attractions as we booked it on a specific time.
I texted Roberta (one of the hosts) some questions during our stay and I always got a reply back which was a plus!

OVERALL

I highly recommend this apartment to any of you visiting London. If the apartment is unavailable, I recommend any properties from Danilo or Roberta as they are such good hosts to our grourp.
